The locomotive cabin is a hard place to spend a working life. Long hours, vibration through every bone, the constant alertness of being the only person responsible for hundreds of lives behind you. And for decades, the seat in that cabin was an afterthought — a hard, rigid box designed by people who had never sat in one for twelve hours.

Then we built something different.
